The United States is the worlds only super power. Much of the world would like to see us removed from that position. Our enemies just lack a way of attacking us. They can't do it with 20 attackers taking over planes. They need a thousand or two attackers to kill tens of thousands of Americans. They need a way to destroy our economy. They need way to destroy our ability to win a new kind of war. A war where Nuclear weapons are useless to us because we would be fighting on our own soil. And they need an alliance where if we nuked them, they could nuke us. They need a way to make our attackers an alliance of people.. not a declared attack by nations.

Perhaps like Spain was the rehearsal for WWII in Europe, Iraq and insurgent warfare is the rehearsal for a WW III to be fought in the USA.

How would you like a Mexican Regime allied with Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, Castro's Cuba, most of the Muslim world, and Putin's Russia. How would you like them allied as our enemy. A group sworn to our destruction as nations but not acting as nations by declared war. They would very likely try to defeat the USA by the same type of insurgency that we face in Iraq. They just need a way to get onto our soil to launch insurgent type attacks.

They think we are stupid enough to help them take control of Mexico and they may very well be right. Sending insurgents across a 2000 mile long 50 foot high concrete wall guarded by 100,000 of our troops would be a piece of cake to an enemy with covert regime support.

Bush and Condi have done a lot to keep Mexico and India from joining the group of our enemies. We need to keep China and South Africa, and most of Eastern Europe from joining the Anti-American group. President Bush is trying to prevent Putin's Russia from becoming the leader of that group But most of all we must prevent Mexico from falling into the enemy camp.

Why would we want to replace Mexicans who want work here for cheap wages with new groups of trained terrorists who would kill us at the rate of a few dozen to a few hundred each day.

I think because we do not understand the alternative. Shut off the border and flow of American money back to Mexico and we get a new regime in Mexico ... one very very likely dedicated to our destruction by insurgent warfare.

A new Anti-American regime in Mexico would stop illegal immigration in a heart beat. Chavez, Castro, and even Muslim type regimes tend to restrict and punish all attempts by their citizens to leave their borders. Many Americans would cheer. Then when our guard was down they would send small groups of terrorists across our border until they had enough to kill our civilians by the tens of thousands. The insurgents would very likely not even be Mexicans.

If you think our troops could protect us from such attacks then why can't our troops protect Baghdad? Do you think a hostile Mexico who welcomed insurgents would be stopped by a concrete fence? How much dynamite does it take to blow 25 simultaneous holes in a concrete fence with each hole 80 miles apart. They would only send insurgents through the holes we didn't get to quickly enough.

The Mexican government would deny they were behind it. They might even have a show trial of those "Who were trying to escape their regime!!!".

Some of the world that was aligned as our Communist enemies are now reforming their Anti-American alliance with militant Muslims. One reason for that is Muslims have the power to strangle our nation with removal of the oil that runs our economy. It just takes the return of nearly all American troops to our own soil and they can shut off our oil.

To protect our own soil from enemy insurgents, we would have to bring all our troops home. Then the Muslims could shut off our oil. What could we do about that besides beg? Without middle east oil we would have 40 percent unemployment, and little if any civilian gasoline. With many Americans dying by the hour as a result of random insurgent attacks, our government, freedom, and security would soon be gone. Most likely the president in power ( Hillary??? ) would try appeasement. "Can't we all just get along???"

But what the hey!!! What is a few tens of thousands of civilian American deaths and a destroyed economy compared with Mexicans who want to make Big Macs and send 3 of their 5 dollar an hour wage back to Mexico to feed their family.

It should be very apparent to anyone who looks at current events with any degree of understanding that what we face is a significant portion of the worlds nations allied against us and trying to find a way to bring our nation down. They don't want to leave their fingerprints on that effort. Much of that alliance would like to fight us with insurgents supplied by some nation and entering the USA through another.. To them Mexicans would be a good choice for access.

As the world's only super power, it should be obvious to us that much of the world will be inclined to align against us. To much of old Europe, we are the bad guys simply because we are the worlds only super power and they are not.

Many Americans can't see what is forming against us. They are ever so willing to dump weak and vulnerable allies. They can't seem to understand that former allies once dumped, will just join our enemies in trying to destroy our people and nation.

If we allow it to happen, there will be no fronts in this new World War. Just random sites in the USA where civilians .. men, women, and especially children die.

The only place our enemies want to fight is on our own soil, where our disarmed and helpless civilians can be the targets. I for one do not want to face the cold fear of death and destruction. Our enemies need and want a 2000 mile border from which to launch insurgent type attacks upon our soil. President Bush wants to fight on their soil. Should we be surprised that they want to fight on ours?

The barbarians are not at the gate yet... Unless our government assists our enemies by giving them Mexico and its 2000 mile border as way to export terrorist attacks to our native soil.

Today we are facing poor Mexicans trying to sneak across our border to make a buck and we are really ticked. That border on the Mexican side is controlled by banditos and drug dealers who have every reason to prevent terrorists from crossing the border. They know that if a 9/11 type attack came across that border, the border would be secured and they would be out of business.

The problem for terrorists is the banditos will not let them across the Mexican border with money or weapons. The banditos take both.

But a communist regime in Mexico would take out the Banditos as their first act. They would make the border safe for insurgents.

No one who wants to live would support our enemies sharing a border with us. But that does not seem to stop people from trying to make it happen.
