The men who won't come out to vote for Hillary for sexist reasons are not Republican men ... they are Democratic men. The media thinks that the men opposed to Hillary on a gender basis are Republicans. They believe that the rank and file Democrats think exactly the same as the Democratic elites. That is just not true.

There was a time in the 1930s and 1940s that the power in the Democratic party rose from the bottom. Regional bosses such as Mayor Daily in Chicago, Pendergast in St Louis and Tammany hall Bosses in New York ran the party. Truman had been loyal member of the Pendergast Machine headquartered in St. Louis. Pendergast got Truman the VP nomination in 1944. Most party bosses did not hold office. They had underlings that took their orders to do that. Harry S. Truman, a member of the Pendergast Machine, is an example.

Before 1972 the National Democratic party was controlled by about 70 or 80 party bosses. They knew how to get out (buy) the votes of the lower class party base. They knew how to keep the base happy with pennies while they kept the dollars. But once the elites took over in 1972, they had no concern for the input of the poorly educated,  ignorant masses the elite felt ordained to lead. So they issue edicts, look brilliant for the media, and have zero understanding of the party base.

When in 1968 LBJ wanted to get the nomination for Hubert Humphrey he gave control of the party rules committee for the 1972 election to an unknown elitist Senator named George McGovern. LBJ did that in return for the leftist elites support for Humphrey in 1968. At the time the leftist elite's influence in the party was limited to the Media. But LBJ needed the Media if he hoped to defeat Dick Nixon with HHH as his candidate. HHH's defeat left the Democratic party in the control of the elites. They have never let go.

LBJ figured that once HHH was in office, HHH  would be in charge of the party.  LBJ figured that surely HHH could defeat Dick Nixon and the old time party bosses could, with HHH's blessing, refuse to  give control of the party to the McGovernites.

The old time party bosses were corrupt but they were close to the base. They knew how to please the base while lining their own pockets. But as a result of McGoven changing the party rules the elites have for many years had control of the rules that control the party. The elites decides what to do and who is to do it. The elites have control of the money and jobs. They only need the base for their votes and they have had good luck ot getting the base's votes with little effort.

The party elite now controls 20 percent of the voting delegates to the Democratic nominating convention. Thus Hillary has nearly 40 percent of the delegate votes she needs to win the nomination before a single primary or caucus is held. She can lose 2/3 of the primaries and still win the nomination on the first ballot. She will be the nominee on the first ballot. But that does not mean she has the support of enough rank and file voters to elect her.

There is one other thing that the media and their fellow elites do not understand. A huge number of lower class women in the Democratic base are not in any sense of the word liberated. Their goal in life was to find a man with a good job (union scale.. rarely if ever laid off) to provide for her, not abuse her too much, and not make her too many babies.

Just as she looked for a man to provide for her, she looks for a president who will take care of women like her. She axiomatically thinks that a male Democratic candidate will take care of her more than a rich, big shot Republican male. That is her belief if the Democratic candidate is a man.

Lower class Democratic women know that an elite woman ( the smartest in the world for example ) will look down on them and treat them like stupid tramps. All her adult life upper class women have looked at her as if she were too stupid and too cheap to be accepted or even tolerated by the elite females. She has been put down by such woman from the time she first physically developed as a woman. She is certain that no woman high enough on the ladder to become president would give a rats rump about her needs and wants.

She voted for Bill Clinton because he was a lot like the guys she went with and maybe even married. Her guys were not as slick as Willie but they tried to be  Willie married a big shot female who looks down her nose at women like her. She knows it, and will not vote for Hillary. She may not vote for a Republican but she will not vote for Hillary.

Few, if any Republican women will vote for Hillary. They feel she could ruin the chance of another woman being elected president for 40 years. They know that the crooked Hillary could end up getting impeached and convicted. And the poor women don't want what they think of as a snotty B*tch looking down her nose at them for 4 or 8 years.

I would bet you that Hillary will do worse with the female vote than any recent Democratic nominee .
